First post - Love the forum, any help will be appreciated.

this may have been covered before but the only search posts i can find are more , which kit is best and the amount it drops...

- recently purchased a 2004 C180k (AUS) Sports sedan. built april 04
i do understand that the sports is lowered by 15mm but mine appears lower than most.

to help in my searches.

1. the front rotors are larger and drill so would i mine be considered a 2004.5?
2. trying to find out what has been done with the current suspension.
3. the shocks are currently black with blue markings - guessing OEM.
what should i be looking for. to tell if the springs are replaced or if the pads have been taken out? or has someone just cut the originals springs down? - can someone also direct to a post to find the original stock height of an 2004 SS.

cheers jas-

thanks to this forum i have found heaps including that the flares have already been rolled and the car had 15mm spacers front and rear. and there are as many aftermarket things to buy for this car as my TJ

you can tell if the spring is cut because it is literally cut. you have to jack up the car and check. if they were aftermarket springs then they would be a different color other than black...green for tein or h&r, red for eibach, etc etc. the 2004.5 brakes are exactly the c32 brakes except they say mercedes benz and not amg. you probably have to take a better pic for the brakes.

looks to me like your front suspension is stock for the sport sedan and the rear looks like u either got a heavy *** system installed or a body in the trunk!! thats really low!
