I initially had OEM halogen lights. I bought frosty Xenons at a fabulous price but would not work until I got the dealership to set the Xenons=Present.
Since the headlight circuit is now pumping out more juice to handle the Xenons, wouldn't the added juice be detrimental to OEM halogens if I wanted to switch back to the original headlamps?

2002 C320 Headlight Assembly
I'm changing my OEM headlight to plug&play projector light, does anyone has the assembiy guide for removing and installing. Thanks
Also, has anyone try changing over to projector lights and how did it go.

I'm pulling the car into the shop as we speak, I hope the God this guide will help me complete this headlight upgrade as swiftly as possible. Stay tuned for updates...
By the way, I'm doing this on my own.

lol i did it! it took a little under 4 hours, but i did it....well half of it.
i only had time to put one headlight in...yeah i went really slowly
and kept running back to the computer to check the next step
it also took longer than usual because i had to mod a clip, i basically drilled a hole through the black plastic cover and inserted a series of bolts/nuts to hold the high beam in place...lol i think it'll last
so its 9:00 PM now and i have ONE facelifted light...lol looks great tho

No worries man...
just sounds odd that you have to add a bunch of nuts & bolts just to hold the high beam up in place.

its because its missing the clip that that holds the bulb in place, i bought them as-is off ebay for a good price, but thats the only fault...i guess i can deal with it, seems to be pretty sturdy.

Hey guys, I got the lights in today, it took around 3.5 hours, would have probably been only 2.5 but I had a problem with my lights. The lights look great, but I got DEPO lights and the beam it total ****, I have to get them aligned hopefully it will be better. Great instructions! We had the laptop running for the first little while I never would have figured that out on my own!

There seems to be a few different types of projector lamps for the W203 around the net, all aftermarket.
Some say you cant use HID with them whilst others include HID kits (no name brand i guess)
What none of these sites tell you is how they compare to the stock halogens in terms of light dispersement. Or if the aftermarket lenses are as robust as the stock ones.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
