Thanks rlee02135 for the illustrated instructions. I was able to replace my foggy headlights with projectors today in a little more than three hours. You saved me anywhere from $80 - $170 labour!

Anyone have any experience with these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=150339798484
Is this a true xenon upgrade? Says it comes with either 8000K (White with Bluish) Xenon HID or 6000K (Pure White) Xenon HID.

I have a set of the clear headlights from my 2005 C230 sedan that has only about 5000 mi on them. They are in great condition. These will fit 2001-2007 C-class sedans.
PM me if anyone is interested. Reasonable offers accepted.

2002 Mercedes Benz C230 Coupe
Im planning to remove my coupe headlights and have them buffed/polished to make them clear as much as possible and to get rid of all the yellow-ness.
Before I dive into it, is the process the same/similar to the DIY listed here (which is terrific btw)?
If there are any threads that contain a DIY for the coupe, please point me int he right direction...if not..what differences should I be aware of?
Thanks.

no clue if it is different or not but i assume it is the same because why would they change it. just start taking stuff off and look to see if it is different.

They decided to change the headlight mounting location for some reason didnt they??...LOL. Those Germans....
I was hoping to know what to expect before I dove in, but looks like Im just going to have to figure it out.

believe the post facelifted came with a different connector plug than the pre. If you want updated headlights just buy some depo or eagle eye brand projector headlights and add some HID lights. I suggest not buying the ones with the HID already installed, they charge an arm and leg for them, just get the projectors for under 200 and buy some DDM HIDs from on here and if they dont have the error cancellors you can have a shop that has STAR switch your present to xenon or just by some error cancellors from aznoptic.

Putting in DEPO lights today. Took a pic before with the stock frosted, and last night I took a pic of the light output against some trees. Once i'm finished I'll do the same thing.
I'll just edit this post and put them on here...

I've looked at a few threads on replacing headlamps on w203 but they all seem to describe the pre-facelift cars. I have a '06 C230. I assume that pretty much the only difference is getting to the bolts in the front of the bumper cover. They must be behind the screens in my bumper but I don't know how to take the screens off. Can somebody clue me in to getting the screens off? Are they obvious once you get them off? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Bump!
Doesn't anybody know how to take out the screens in the bumper cover to get at the mounting bolts (or can tell me what I'm missing)?
BTW - I hope everybody had a great Christmas!
