The Bremmas clear the 4-piston calipers by a good deal.
i think the offset has been changed and they clear now...

E1000,

Congrats on buying those Bremma's. I think they are sweet *** rims for the 230 Sport. I think you know that I bought a set of AMG replica's as well. Not Bremma's, but they look the same and should be in soon. I went with
17's though because I am a wimp. Well sort of plus the fact that I live in the arctic (Canada) so these are my winter rims. They should be here in a couple of days so I will hopefully get some good pics and post them. Once again, congrats on the new rims. They look very classy!

P.S - Are those Bremma's the Silver finish? I think they are but not sure! That is the same as I ordered.

Thanks!

yes, they have the silver finish. Not too into chrome, plus I think the silver goes better with my silver car. Hope you get your new rimms soon and remember to post pics!

Not bremmas - but the real deal AMG Style IV 19"s. Bremmas will look the same except for the rear wheels on the AMG Style IV's do NOT have the 1.5" lip like the Bremmas do.

I personally think the Silver Bremma's look better than the AMG Chromes which I think the link that you posted shows. No matter what, they are my favourite wheels and I can't wait to get them. Sounds like a few people are interested in purchasing some. Everyone post pics of your rides with the Bremma's / AMG's on them.

Not meaning to beat a dead horse but e1000, I think the Silver was the best choice for your car because they match the car colour to a T. Looking good. Is your car tinted at all? What do you think about tinting? I think your car would look hotter if you did that. I think any car looks better that way though.

funny that you ask about tinting. I really like the stock blue window and didn't want to lose that look. What I ended up doing was buying the MB Factory rear window sun blinds.

with both sides clipped on and the rear sunshade up, it's really quite dark in the car. The blue windows do pretty well against UV so the car always stays pretty cool. The sun blinds come on and off pretty easily.

Hey E1000,

Question for you:

Were you able to resuse the OEM hardware with the Bremma's? I should be getting mine soon. They charged me $1605 taxes in and includes installation, balancing & Mercedes Centre Caps. That is for the 17" AMG replica's ( I am not sure of the brand but they might be Bremma's) and 4 - 225/45/17 Kumho KW19 winter tires. My point is, if I can use the bolts for the new wheels then I will save about another $60. Thanks for any input! This is Canadian $ as well.

No real purspose to that question if you wheels are not bremmas, then they use different or stock hardware. Every wheel is different, just because the style is the same does not mean it can also use the same bolts as other wheels. Bremmas need new bolts though.

Hey Thanks for the response and pointing out that there is no point to my question. The fact that you answered shows there must be some point or else you just made up a response to how you interpreted the jibberish.

Unfortunately not everyone knows as much as you do about cars as you do which is why I post on here. There are so many helpful people on here and I appreciate it.

If I understand you correctly then I will need new hardware whether or not I have Bremma's or any other AMG Twin replica. I figured I wouldn't though as it is made specfically for my car so I figure it should have the same bolt patterns and such.

I think you may have got the wrong idea reading that. My point is if the Bremmas require new hardware a similar style wheel not the same brand may not and use factory hardware. So unless you know the brand, it cannot be answered without a guess. Most aftermarket wheels do require new hardware.

Well I got my new wheels put on and I must say they look awesome. I like them better than my 07 OEM wheels. I am contemplating selling my OEM's next summer and buying some staggered Bremma's for the summer. I am getting my car tinted tomorrow so I will take some pics when the chance arises. The weather here is horrible though. Thankfully I got the Kumho
KW19's on there as well which are like night and day compared to the factory performance Michelines. Enjoy your replica's everybody. They look hot!

Most Recent Pics!

I managed to take a couple of pics of my car last night after getting tinted in the shop. Didn't have much room to work with but here they are. Winter Kumho KW19's and 17" x 8" AMG Twin Replica's. 5% limo tint in the back windows and 50% the lightest tint there is on the front.

Thanks and I didn't mean to jack your thread by the way. I realized that after I posted this that I maybe should have had my own thread.

I like the colour the best. I was planning on getting Red but thankfully my wife suggested the Orion Blue. Now she is probably regretting it because she gets jealous of the attention I give my car. Take care!

e1000, your new wheels look fantastic. I love Bremmas. I'm thrashing my OEM wheels so may follow you into Bremma heaven. Congrats.

well, after 2 and a half years of sitting under my bed. I finally put it on.

This was actually the first thing I ever bought for my car.

Here it is, CF Lip.
