The rear might rub a little on the inside, the front should be good. I agree on the tire size, you could run a 3mm spacer on the rear if you need a little clearance.

I may be the only one on this, but i think you should go with the #4 rear pad to even it out somewhat with the front.

I agree, H&R sport spring's with #4 in the rear sets the car level. The gap will be different, but the car will be level and handle better. If you drop the nose to low to get the gap in the front the same then it will make the rear light in the corners. This will cause oversteer and thats not good if your going for hadling.

would putting 255's on a 9.5in wide rim be streching the tire a little or would it be no problem

I definitely like the springs, the spring rate was actually higher then i realized which has resulted in a slightly "oversprung" ride. I'm using struts/sways from an 05 C230KSS (they're supposed to be more heavy duty then my 03's).

Don't get me wrong... it's really close, but not perfect.

Anyway, next time around i would've just got a set of H&R Sports, H&R Sways & Bilstein Sports. I was trying to keep it OEM but whatever...

BTW - just got my alcantra/leather AMG med F1 steering wheel installed!! Pics up soon

Add a passenger or two, and it was riding on the jounce snubbers. Ditched the original #2 pads and installed #4, but they only raised it ~1/4 inch. Trust you installed #52792, but seem to have suffered the same result!

Spoke with Josh Scott, (888) 827-8881, http://www.hrsprings.com. He was very helpful and accommodating. He provided a pair of their #52792-2 rear springs, gratis. Now, the rear is down ~1" from its original height and feels/looks "proper."

Was pleased with H&R's support, so I've subsequently installed their #70392(2) and #71392 anti-roll bars. Combined, the springs and bars resulted in a substantial improvement in cornering speed and overall handling dynamics.
Hi John,

Scary how you predicted my scenario to the T! Yes, i ordered the #52732's... i may end up leaving it for the time being. BTW, your car looks great!

Cheers,

I would adjust it as lower rears (no puns please) don't look right.....
