Front wheel losing traction OMFG!!!
Today i was driving down the freeway 85 as normal and it was smooth~~ and when i merge to other freeway 280 on a bridge my front wheels doesn't seems to responding to my turn. I was only going 45-50 MPH when i am merging. The front wheels seem going straight rather than turning. i get so freak out i step on my brake (not slamming) and turn more because my car is heading to the wall!!
i don't hear any tire sound, ABS light flashing. I still have more than 80-90% tire thread left. Could it be the cracky bump road? or my tires really suck?
i use General Exclaim UHP 235/35/19
Also, bear in mind that some tires (mostly high performanc summer tires) don't like cold weather. They're soft and gummy when warm (by design) but are hard and not very grippy when cold. All season tires and winter tires stay pliable in cold weather - that's why they chunk so easily when they're pushed hard and the tread gets hot. (Especially in the summer or warm days.)
