Oil Capacity....?
Can someone please tell me the oil capacity on a C230 Kompressor engine..?
Please don't tell me to look in the manual, (I would if i had one).....

2005 C230K Sport Sedan, 6 speed manual
The C230k with the 1.8L engine uses 5.8 quarts. This includes changing the filter, located at the back of the engine, by the firewall. Open your hood wide (vertical) using the red button on the hood support strut.
Be sure to use Mobil-1 in the 0W-40 weight. It says European Formula, and is recommended for most German cars. This is one of the few oils here that meets the MB 229.5 specification required for your car. You can buy it by the 6-pack at most auto parts stores. Discount stores do not typically have the 0W-40. There are a few other oils that also meet the requirement, but be sure they are approved for MB 229.5.
If you are draining the oil from below, you will need to remove the rear belly protector. It is held on by six 8mm head screws.
