i love being back in La
i was walking down ventura blvd heading back to my house after eating some pizza, and as im walking i look to my left and see a SLR with a Lotus Elise right next to cruising by with and a c55 behind them. first reaction is " Holy S@#$T! what a combo!" pull out my phone to get a pic but couldnt catch up to them on foot, thats the problem wiht slrs, you just cant keep up with them.

then i saw a "S 500 'AMG' " drive by .

yup, both are sure signs that im back in la

not with the weather we have been getting. i wouldnt make it out of my driveway! she's been parked due to the snow and slush....good ol loser cruiser for me lately.

Ugh...that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, the weather has been weird all over the place in L.A. Recently, there was snow in some places of L.A. that nobody would ever expect.

yeah it's weird. there was snow in Vegas last week too. global warming is really at it this year. we've had the worst winter ever, it has never snowed so much!

i was lucky enough to get an R class when i did my service B last week. that thing rocks in the snow!

anyway, are you guys expecting a huge turn out? it sounds massive!

sorry for being off topic here!


i dont think i will ever see an SLR where i'm from. :\

There is an SLR 722 back in Knoxville. It is in the showroom in MB Knoxville. It has been there for a year now. The dealer had to buy $30,000 worth of parts for their lifts so they could fit it to lift the SLR 722. Yeah, I think they got really bent about that.

Glad you made it out there ok.

dude, tell me about it, i was on the 405 heading to santa monica yesterday and freakin sleet and snow was coming down hard. never thought i would see it here.

o btw today i saw a black w203 with a black grille, black rims and a flat hood badge in studio city, i have a hunch he would be on this, anyone know who it might be?

they cant even sell the R classes they have, theres no way they could ever sell that 722.
