Oh snap...

I live close (10 min) to that karting place, and it's on my way to work. That place is a lot closer than the Grove. It's on Katella and Main St, across the street from the movie theatre. BTW, I DID go to the Grove last night about 8:30 and I couldn't find anyone, so I left. No more improptu meets for me.

Large organized Mercedes meets usually happen a few times a year in Southern California. Unorganized "impromptu" get togethers happen all the time depending on the situation. I happened to be in town for a few days on business, so I called up some of the guys I know in LA and we all got together to hang out and have dinner. Of course, we're always willing to meet new folks, so we opened it up to anyone who could make it. There's no official car club or anything, just a bunch of enthusiasts.

Forgot to mention, we usually go around letting air out of tires of any BMW's we can find!

yup, our MBs can top 160mph easily!
