Help! Sub Wire Colors, Where to look...

I have been searching this forum for literally 2 hours and could not find the answer to this question. I am trying to add a sub to my 03 C320 Sedan with the Bose sound system. I need to know what color the wires are going to the Bose Subwoofer to tap into them. I have removed every panel in the trunk trying to find where the wires are running to it but I still don't see them. Please help soon as my car isn't even drivable right now.

The sub should be under the rear shelf. Go into your trunk and look up. There should be a subwoofer there. Assuming you're adding an amp too, you'll need to have a high/speaker level input on the amp, or get a hi/low input converter and just tap the signal wires going into the sub. Not sure if you can use the factory amp to power the new woofer, since I don't know what is the impedance on the Bose sub.

I see the sub. It faces down. I can't see or feel any wires going to it though.

The wires are accessible through the top of the deck lid. You need to remove the thing that is circled, but on the other side.

yeap. You need to pry it off. I use a plastic putty knife, but a regular flat-head screwdriver will work.

You can PM an admin and can have your name changed without being a noob again

Too bad you didn't request this wire color stuff 3 month ago. I deleted my 03 C320 files once I got my E.

2005 C320 -Sports package - black / black
I believe the wires are brown and brown with a pink stripe. They are bigger than the rest of the wires that go to the amp.

-----edit-----

I played with it some more last night. I tried to pry the plastic grill cover off. It almost broke so I gave up on that. If someone is absolutely sure that it just pops off, I will try it again. All the wires are hidden in the rear shelf. I'm usually really good with this stuff but this is just a pain.
