Mod

Couple of questions:

1. What performance mod have you/would you do first?
2. What interior mod have you/would you do first?
3. What exterior mod have you/would you do first?

And no, I didn't search, cuz I'm lazy and going for post count.

Me too post count rocks

1. The first performance mod I installed was Denso Iridium Spark plugs - $130 for 12 plugs

2. My headliner was falling down, so I had a local shop install the secondary color on the dash as a headliner. My car is the light silver interior, while the dash is dark grey. The original headliner is one solid color, but I like the two tone effect.. Check it out in my sig link

3. The first exterior mod was rims. I love rims. Its the first thing I do to all of my vehicles.

1) ECU
2) COMAND and TV tuner
3) Euro impact strips. (Man I hate those side markers. Clear or amber, hate them the same. )

Wouldn't it be more logical to get the ECU as the last one for performance? Everytime you do something to the engine you will need to finetune it again

1. Build engine, raise compression ratio, larger flow injectors, BT, fuel pump upgrade, cam regrind, increase displacement, shotpeened rods, forged pistons, custom head stud kit, custom intake piping, 2.5" hi-flow exhaust system.
2. BBS LM Champions to fly the plane w/ SCCA approved cage.
3. Go to unwritten territories of ECU tuning.

Tint's somewhere in there too.

True, but I guess that we need to take into consideration what the individual goal is. I never did any performance mods, it is just not me. The only one that I ever considered was the ECU. I am more a looks and gadgets kind of guy.

Here is what I am thinking:

1. Bored TB, intake, port & polish heads, coated headers and ECU.
2. COMAND
3. C32 bumper, painted grill, hood emblem, rims

^Engine swap? LOL!

There are pistons available from Wiseco that increase the compression ratio. You could order shorter rods (balanced of course) at .030 over which would increase dispacement to 3.0L or better. Tremendous power increase in an engine built to handle it. $5,000 or so for a 125HP+ increase.
