hey guys I just lowered my car with Tein Basic coilovers with the lowest setting. there is still a little gap in the rear. Is it possible to get it lower?

Swap out your spring pads for a thinner one. That's strange that you're having that problem. Another member has Tein's and can't raise it high enough.

 

you don't need spring pads for coilovers. take'em out.

 

Visually it looks good to me.

Do you really want the collapsed suspension look?

Btw, is there any picture of the spring pad location in the forum? My dealer was totally confused when I asked them about spring pads .

I like the way it is right now, changing to bigger wheels will make the car looks better

 

I don't know if you need to have the car any lower. I think the problem is your rims are too small. It looks more flushed on other cars because they have bigger rims I'm assuming. That's just what I think is the problem though, but don't listen to me over the other guys, they're more educated on the technical stuff haha.

 

Leave it as is. Throw some 18's on that.

i think it looks perfect the way it is now.

 

no such thing as low rider C class benz.... just wont' look right, this is best enough, all u need is bigger rims...

it is a Moven C16 19inch, got it from carlab and still this is the only pics i ever had atm....

 

Does not look that you need to lower the car as it looks fine.

Those are certainly low profile tires, they look like rubber bands. I could not get through a season with our rough roads and potholes without damaging the rim or tire

 

Now this is low!!! It looks awesome. Wonder how it rides? It is air so probably pretty smooth.

 

coilover has it's own adjustable spring perch, so you don't need the spring pads.

the spring pads are on top of the rear springs.

 

Just to clarify, that means if I haven't taken out my spring pads - my spring is sitting on a perch and below a spring pad?

Also, do you guys think that lowering a CO is an easy DIY ?

Wow, this car is low. My buddy used to have his car this low on the cut cup kit, it was crazy, he drove very very slow, I don't think it's practical at all.
Low is good, but not too low.
