W209 vs W203 wheels

I have a 2001 C320, with the stock 16 inch wheels a friend of mine is offering to sell me her stock 17's and tires off of her 209 (CLK) she wants $900. I was thinking of $700. The imitation wheels are 570 online. Tires I assume would be around 600 right thats 1170. Should I try to get her down to $500 or just get aftermarket wheels??? see pic

you can find a set of those for pretty cheap - look in the classifieds section - wayyyy less than $900

I believe that they will have the wrong offset for the rears if they are the staggered setup.

looking in to My Mercedes Wheel catalogue the offsets are the following (f/r) for a 17" wheel that is 7.5"fr and 8.5"rr

w203 36/34
w209 36/30

BTW I found on ebay a set of mint 17" OEM funnel spokes incl tires (michelin pilot Primacy) that had 8/32" tread left for $510 + shipping about a month ago

If you want to download the catalogue go to http://www.ragtop.org/mbbrochures/ and it is listed under 2007. To determine the offset it is the number after ET in the sizing info
