I see in the current Autoweek.com feature on the new C Class that was officially introduced to the press in Stuttgart just after the Detroit Autoshow that we are promised both diesel and 4-matic versions in the U.S. Unstated though is whether both diesel (the new Bluetech?) and 4-Matic will be available on the same vehicle? Given how well the E Class diesel is doing, with the C class's lighter weight it ought to sell well too, especially if it gets even better mileage than the diesel E does. Interestingly press reports suggest rear seat room is equal, if not better, in the new C compared to the E!
