2. Im debating between a A4/ Benz for a future purchase in April/May, thus the following question:
Who would win the following in quarter mile times?

B6 Quattro 1.8T Stage 1+ vs 2005 Mercedes Benz C320

B6 Quattro 1.8T Stage 1+ vs 2006 Mercedes Benz C280

Well, I think a Stage 1 A4 1.8 Quattro is a low-to-mid 14 second car IIRC. If you have the means, why not just purchase the C350 and you'll already have a low-to-mid 14 second 1/4 mile car that has a warranty? Or if you're willing to spend that much, I'd say look for a used B5 S4 (which responds to mods VERY well) or a B6 S4 for around $28-32K. Or you could just buy a C32 AMG and have high 12-second quarter-mile times.

Ideally, I would go C350, but your currently paying 30k for a non-sport model, and a new body kit for the c class can get insane in a hurry, plus no alluminum trim. The c32 is amazing, but you ain't getting a decent period of warranty coverage, and an AMG model with no warranty can strike fear into many. The B5 S4 has pretty much the same problem and a low mileage model is hard to find. B6 S4 could be an exciting alternative to the C350, but power numbers are somewhat close between the two, and with them being around the same price, I think I would go with the more fuel efficent benz. I've seen some 2005 C320 sport models, maybe that's a good way to go.
