C200k (2001) sunroof maintenance / Workshop manual
Hi Everyone,
Fist time on the forum so here is some info about me. Live in Sunny South Africa, turning 50 this March, happily married for 25 years this July (so I am told), 2 brats aged 24 and 19. It's my wife's job to complain and mine to give her a reason to. Started my career as an TV/Video technician with Philips, moved on to Computer Company and became a computer engineer, moved on into sales with a medical company and now back as Sales in a computer company. Hobbies - sport, Golf, photography, gardening etc.
Back to the topic. When the rear of the sunroof is raised I can see the concertina rubbers on the left and right side are both torn on one of the folds. Does anyone know to remove and replace them? When the glass roof is retracted it now makes a squeaking noise so I will have to clean the dust on the guides as well - any suggestions?
Anyone have a workshop manual I can buy?

Uhh, yeah, thanks for the background...
There is a workshop disc that can be used. It will have the diagrams etc.
However, I don't have the part number right in front of me.
Do a search for W203 repair disc. That should bring up the part number

no luck with search
Thanks for your response. Tried a search but no luck yet. Can't seem to find any manuals or CD's for my model - 2001 C200 Kompressor (W203) - only on earlier models. What I find on the web is that the factory Cd's out there only seem to work on Windows 2000 and not on XP.

Okay, the official Disc is Part no P-2700-203-06
Version 1.0
It is called the STAR Service, Service Manual Library Model 203.
If you can't get it local, perhaps I can buy one and ship it out to you.
