I had posted this question twice in this forum before. Now I am still having trouble to take the whole door panel off in my C230. I just took out two screws, one behind the SRS badge and one under the small black cover. I had detached all the clips behind the panel and tried to tug it up. Obviously, I couldn't get the top part out of the door structure and I got the bottom part hanging around. Any other screw I was missing here? or techique I had missed?

What is "the small black cover"? There is a screw inside the door handle. Is this what you're referring to?

Yes its very thight, I had the same problem. But it should come off if you pull the panel upwards. Try to grab the panel somewhere in the upper area and just pull upwards. One other trick is to take something long to stick behind the panel and push on the upper area of the panel from the inside, if you know what I mean. Btw, did you remember to remove the plastic speaker triangle?

You need to take off the triangular tweater cover first before you can pull out the panel.

it helps to have the window down when you pull up. Also, when you pull it off, be careful, there is two wires that you must unclip. The closer one is for the window switch, unclip it from behind the foam cover, you might have to cut a little hole. The second is the unlatch cable, i didnt want to mess with this, you dont need to unhook it, just lean the panel up against the door, theres enough room, also, dont forget that c-clip around the latch.
