Is There a High Flow Air Filter for 3.5L Motors Available?
Is there a high flow air filter (Green, K&N, other) available for the 3.5L motors? Specifically I am asking about fitment for a 2006 C350 Sport 3.5L.

I think you'll find that the highest flowing and best quality air filter you can buy is already in your car.
There have been many problems reported using oiled filters contaminating the MAF sensor, and since your car is under warranty you REALLY don't want to start messing with it.
That's all your "friendly" local dealer needs to void a warranty claim for a VERY expensive part!
My MB filters kept this from getting any further in my C320:

For anyone interested, K&N just came out with a part number for the new 3.5L C-Class V6 motors. It is PN#: 33-2859. Here's the URL: http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2859
Basically the same for most of the other 3.5L V6 350 models. I got a pair coming. I've run K&N's on 4 cars and two bikes now. I've put probably 300K miles on K&Ns and only have good things to say about them. So far, so good (knocking on wood). I am looking forward to see how the C350 like a bit more breathing up top.
