what's the size of your rim. on a 7.5 wide the widest you can put is 255. but then you might have issues with rubbing in the fender. and on a 7 inch tire it's safe to go with a 235.

Was there any reason why you didn't get the C7 package with 17" rims??? Most people i heard are kicking them selves for not getting the evolution package. But on 16" rims the widest i would go is 235's also the 255's could be little too big.

The stock rims are 16x7jj....
Using the old BFGoodrich "+1" calculations, stock tires are 205/55 HR 16. You can upgrade to 225/50 HR(or any other speed rating)16 without losing speedometer calibration.
(205/55 and 225/50 are the same wheel diameter)
To go to 235/45's, you'd need to go to a different wheel because the stock offset with the wider tire would scrub the strut housing. Anything woder would require deep dish 'rice bowl' mags...and the tires would stick out from the wheel wells.

The whole reason i didnt get the C7 package is because i wanted the manumatic transmission. plus when i got it back in July they didn't have the package out yet.

The Silver Bullet has Falken 225/40ZR18 tires on it with H&R springs to drop it 1 1/2 inches both front and rear. Wheels fit nice and snuggly and cornering is incredible. I took delivery of this in July as well so C7 wasn't available but have had no regrets.
