06 C200K vs 07 C230 V6
I live in EGYPT and I have a 2005 c200 kompressor which is a 163 bhp engine which has some problems
1) The throttle response is just like driving a turbo car with huge lag and suddenly the power kicks in brutaly.
2) When I lift off at any speed I hear a hissing sound from my left side.
3) The brake are not directly proportional to my foot, suddenly the brakes kick in aggressively
4) I have the 4 spoke steering wheel and it is damn hard to use the horn.
Last week my friend bought a 07 C230 which has a 2500 V6 204 bhp engine I took it for a spin with 500 km on the odo (BRAND NEW)
1- I didnt feel the lag, drives like a normal car (no kompressor)
2- No hissing sound (no kompressor)
3- the brakes are normal
4- the horn is easy to use (IDENTICAL STEERING WHEEL)
I can live with the strange sound and the horn issue but I really want to know whats causing the lag and the brakes problem and the dealer says thats perfectly normal
Is feels like its a problem with some sort of vaccum pressure or valving in the manifold or the TPS. I think thats the same thing causing the sound and the brake problem.
Anybody has similar issues, any ideas ?
