Thanks Guys
-->Ear to ear. I have been waiting for a used one to pop up locally so I could paint it for a long long time. I wanted to pick up Cappas when he selling his but had other mods I wanted to do before. Johnny even beat me to purchasing this hood from Doramon 8 months ago.
There was another one that sold for about $350 shipped on ebay 2 months ago. I didn't get that one since it wasn't local. Just wait another one will pop up eventually.

Damn, man. You've been swooping up a lot of parts lately. Been saving up or what? Time to do some performance work, bro. At least you don't have to buy a body kit like I do, since you've already got the AMG styling.

You're just lucky you're a homeboy, otherwise I would've swooped it up immediately!...

Ahh too many projects too little time. That whole work thing really messes thing up. I guess it goes hand in hand since no work=no $$$ =no toys.

The Mod Bug gnawing on me
My bro just picked a used Porsche 996 Cab dirt cheap and the aftermarket support is ridiculous. I have been helping him with the shopping list and looking out for good deals. Just name it and its available. Just trying to keep up with him. He already was 3 sets of wheels to chose from, headers, exhaust, CAI, gemballa this Techart that... UPS and Fex Ex have been stopping by 3-4 times a week. Plus my lady is in the market for a C class. I told her to wait till the W204 comes out and if she likes it get it if not she can get a great deal on 05 C230. And I know I will end up modding that thing too. As far as performance mods.. I think I need to ride in your car to justify spending the money. I still have an AE86 that has been in the family since 1990 in storage at my parents. $2000 in a benz or $2000 and supe up the Hachi for daily commutes!

I don't know 'bout waiting on the w204, bro. That's 1st year production. The engine won't be, but all the electricals, body parts, etc...I wouldn't do it.
Yup, work really does get in the way, but... your logic is on point (although I'd add one more to the list), No work=No $$$=No toys=No play...LOL. Like it!
