Best mod?
Well upgrading the suspension is it for me.
Springs and AMG swaybars have made a huge difference in the driving comfort of my daily drive, which includes a lot of twisties and pleasure driving in places like Highway 1 to Big Sur.
A lot of Acura's pull over to let me pass them :]
And for night driving, better H7 bulbs has also made a huge difference. Couldn't see squat before.
Those Philips Rally bulbs are freakin' bright man!
Total $$ spent, only ~600.

first mod
hi guys...
i am ready to have an extreme mod on my car. i am planning to get suspenssion, rims, and exhaust.
but i have few questions before i purchase anything and wondering if you guys can help answering few of my questions.
first, i want to get suspenssion, i have read alot on the forum on the H&R coilcover.....but then i dont' want anything too rough, i want something that have a smooth ride..and when it come to holes on the road, not too rough. any suggestion??
and about the rims, i wondering why people getting the biggest rim they can get. is there any advantage to get a big rim??? and what about the weight? what's the ad/disadvantage of the light weight alloy wheels?
last, i want to get a sports exhaust(will be nice if can add a few hp) but i don't know if i should just get the muffler or change the whole system. wondering if you guys have any suggest on the exhaust. i want something sporty but not too noisy :P
any good deal around LA area???
thanks guys

if u want comfy ride but look good, go w/ cup kit.
as for rims, everyone has their own taste...
i suggest 17" for comfortable ride...
u gotta watch for potholes at all times with 19s...
18s for in between...
if u just want slightly better sound, just change muffler and save $$$ for something else...

I got my first mod done! Thanks for CitronC230K_03
With the detail instruction provided by CitronC230K_03, I finally got my first mod done, which is side mirror clear blinkers!! Thanks again for the help from CitronC230K_03, saved a lot my time!!
But I got a question, when I took out the glass from the housings, on the driver side there is a thin wire & a connector attached on the glass. On the passenger side, there is only 2 thin wires attached on the glass, what are they?

the large connector which goes into the driver mirror is for the auto dimming dimming feature. the little brown wires are for the heating elements which are found on both mirrors.
no problem for the help. please post pics.

man...i love the '05 COMAND....did you hardwire the ipod from your aux input in the glove all the way under the dash and center console to the cup holder? or is the wire loose and visible? i know someone hardwired his ipod in his '03 or earlier C and ran the wire all the way under the consoles to the cup holder.... it looks very clean....
....here are his install instructions..... ipod wire install from aux input to cup holder
