It is my understanding that they will not be able to adjust camber, front and back to spec without a camber kit. The front is easy, MB sells the longer camber adjustment bolts from the C32 that allow you to get close to stock camber. The rear is another matter and most people ignore it. Technically while your tires will not last anywhere near as long, the handling will be in improved. It's the main thing that keeps me from lowering my car, the fear of buying tires twice as often. You can play it safe and get the kit that lowers your car the least and that's the Kleemann kit followed closely by Eibach.

I had H&R springs installed on my C240. I brought the car in for alignment and the shop adjusted the front camber but could not adjust the back camber as there is no mechanism provided for this. The alignment shop explained to me that the tires would wear somewhat more than normal. I guess that the price you have to pay for the look and the better handling.

In looking into spring/suspension mods, I talked to several people. They all said about the same - RennTech/Kleemann...they said that you do not necessarily need a camber kit - Renntech does have one available. Renntech springs lowers the car about 1.5 inches...similar to the H&R's.; Kleemann about an inch. Seems like the lower you lower the car - the more you may need to adjust rear camber. So, it seems to be a 50/50 proposition. I guess it depends on how much your rear tires wear and how willing you are willing to replace them.

i belive when i just had my H&R springs they said they replaced the bushings to help the camber. But i guess thats not explaing why i see wear on my rear inner part of the tires at 3000 miles.

I am going to try to go have it checked out again soon.

part of it was that i did not have it alligned after the #1 spring pads were installed.
