If you guys are talking about pics of this car, I'll link them tomorrow when it's done being fully reconditioned.
Yeah, I'm thinking about swapping the flat hood badge, still debating though.

2003 C240
Kev, was down by Lynn/Nahant today so I took a spin into the dealership to see if you were maybe there but saw the Brabus badged car right out front...
Nice lookin car except for the badge...across the street there was a nasty speed trap and a couple kids in a silver E class with silver MBVI's got yanked!!
On the lynnway I also saw a black C230 with the badges on the right hand side and also crooked

So, my friend invites me to this girl's birthday party, and I park my car and we're walking in as this W220 Silver S-Class pulls up and parks a few spots down. It was bone stock and clean as a whistle. As I walk past it, I take a glance at the badging. S350. Nuff said.
Edit: My initial impression was that this car is non-existent, but after coming on the forums, apparently it's a Euro model?

I can also vouch for the mis-badge story. My driver's side rear-quarter panel and light were taken out by a trailer hitch when someone backed into me as I waited for a spot in a parking lot (the guy didn't see me even though I was waiting for a granny to pull out of her spot for almost a full minute already).
Long story short, I had actually driven all the way from the body shop (Raintree Auto Body in Scotttsdale -- I seriously recommend them to any luxury car owner in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area) to a gas station near my house before I even noticed the mis-badge.
...That's the whole reason I de-badged my car in the first place.

A little before the new S came out, the dealers were selling the S350 for 45k brand new just to get rid of them, definitely best bang for the $ for owning the Benz's flagship model.

that's right, S350 was out for 2006. sticker was only 55k start so if you debadged it, no one can really tell because it looked the same as a base S430/S500(2005 models only because in 2006, S430/S500 base came with AMG kit/wheels).

wow...concepts like this strike me as funny because its a loose-loose:
anyone who would be fooled, wouldnt know to be impressed/think higher of the car, cuz they would have to know nothing about MB
anyone who would know enough to be impressed/think higher of the car would (and is) laughing at it in the most malicious way possible.
Oh people sometimes...

Then, may I suggest s500 or s430 instead of S500 or S430. Since our car is a mini/little version of the S class, it'd be more appropriate to use a small "s" vs a big "S".
