C320 to C350 Performance

I am just wondering what will it take for C320 to have similar performance to C350.

Will the chip, sprint booster and underdrive pulley bring me close to the C350 territory??

Just curious

thanks,
Michael

ML63 AMG
C350
Horsepower: 268
Torque: 258
0-60: 6.1

C320
Horsepower: 215
Torque: 229
0-60: 6.8

Top speed for both are limited at 130MPH (as with all non-AMG Mercedes-Benz's).

I know a sprint booster would help in acceleration - I drove a C320 this past weekend with a sprint booster and it just feels much quicker than mine (stock)! But I don't know what numbers it'll give you.

The C32 Exhaust may give a gain of 3-5hp. I'm not sure about a pulley, but you'd most likely have a faster 0-60 time; but at 60-100, the C350's power (HP) will likely pull it through.

But the numbers are pretty close, so accelerating it's a driver's race (advantage to C350); but at 60mph accelerating the HP of the C350 will pull it through.

A C32 exhaust can give additional 3-5 hp ? If it is, I will start looking for C32xhaust now. I thought exhaust is just for the sound, no power gain. I am just curious will C32 exhaust work with C280 ?

sprint booster and underdrive pilley does not add any HP, just frees up unused HP
maybe with a chip, cf air box, filters, exhaust and headers you will be close...

i know sprint booster and underdrive pulley doesn't add any hp
however if it free up some hp, that's like a gain, since those hp were just sitting there doing nothing.
even if with the chip, the hp might not ge close to C350, but performance wise, say like 0-60, 1/4 mile should be close right??

I hope someone can verify this??

It's a shame that I knew about the C350 was in the works after I purchased an my 2004.5 C320, otherwise I would have probably waited for it (even though it means giving up the free services. You get more performance and supposedly better gas mileage, it's a win-win.

a quarter mile at a time
well.. RENNTech's website says a CF airbox and a ECU will give you 15hp. as mentioned earlier, sprintbooster dosen't add any more power. pullies won't be able to make that much more power to get you to C350 speed.

headers should give you another 20hp, then get filters and plugs/wires and you should be around C350 performance
