they claim it's sandblasted, which i am skeptical about...
what do you guys think about the price and all...price + shipping = $150 or so... should spray paint be better?

I was in your same boat last week a little skeptical. I decided to go for the one from a sponsor of the site instead. I got it today. I will post pics this weekend or later tonight. I think it going to be just what I wanted.

My grille on my 2004.5 with 30K miles is all pitted and ugly now. Would it be worth sanding down and painting in flat or semigloss black (I can't see powder coating like that ebay listing says as it's plastic and would melt in the oven and you can't powder coat non-metals). It's pewter silver. Here's a photoshop of what it may look like -

well, i agree with buellwinkle on the powdercoat issue and i am still contemplating if i should spray paint (roughly 30 bucks with lunch with helping friend) or go with ebay (150 bucks). i trust my artsy skill on spray paint and all but....i donno..
