lowered front...

so finally.... after 5 years i lowered my front...

hr springs in the front... i left the back on the stocks... but debating on getting them installed...

called both of the local benz dealers for installation... one refused and the other wanted 200 bucks per springs....

ended up going to an independent benz shop and got them installed for $160.

before and after pictures... i love the drop... much better height than before.

-carino

ps... the pictures i have been uploading lately are thumb nail size... how do i go about getting them to be larger/post size?

I wouldn't suggest rolling like this too long. H&R spring rate will be different than the OEM springs. If you don't want the rear to be lowered that much, just use a bigger spring pad, but definitely using the H&R spring in the rear.

new spings in the front... and 5 year old springs in the rear probably isnt a good idea..

I don't think I've ever seen someone lower 1/2 of their vehicle. If you don't want to adjust the rear, just switch out the stock set, it's definately a good idea to keep it all in one system.

Pics look good though!

Which independent did you end up going with for the work?

Just as I figured....

I will have to keep Morries in mind, I have never heard of them but it would appear that you are happy if you have taken all of your cars there.

its a hole in the wall shop... i found out about him from mercedesshop forum.... hes been in business here in kc for 30 something years... he graduated from KU....

he is from persia.... his family owns an MB dealer back there

... its no aristocrat or mb of kc... but he and his staff know their stuff and his prices are a fraction of what both the dealers charge....

-carino

ps.. if you need an oil change... aristocrat has a great deal going on right ... i got my e class changed with synthetic oil for 19.99.... 40 dollar saving on what they usually charge...
