Driving me crazy trying to find a way to access the Engineer mode on a 05' C class. Any help? Thank you in advance.

Actually I am trying to get my Comand (US, one with a DVD for NAVI and a CD player, 2 slots) to play MP3 like the 05ML..Is there anyway to upgrade that?

-Press and hold "MUTE"
-Wait 3-5 seconds for BEEP!

I've tried the OK-7-MUTE deal, and it does get into an "ALPINE TEST MODE". I haven't gone thru all the screens yet, but it seems as though it's more of a testing/screen calibration mode. I'm working on a write up with screen pics, but haven't gotten to it so far. Anybody else figure out the different screens in this mode yet? It's not the same as the E-class's modes where you can change the MB startup screen to ///AMG, or change to the British chick voice (which is what my ultimate goal is to do).
