Dimly Lit LED - Solution
Had the same problem with LEDs in my coupe. The way to get around it is to put a resistor in parallel to the LED bank. I have no idea why this works (I only used a 100ohm but you can use higher values too, tried a couple of others), because I always thought LEDs offer no resistance under positive bias. Maybe someone with electronics knowledge can enlighten me on this one.

as for the cluster lights, sometime when i'm off in may, I'd have to take the cluster apart, and see how many I would need and sizes.
i actually have to call superbrightleds later, they only sent me ONE 6ohm resistor instead of ttwo.
What about the instrument cluster. I would like to take that apart and throw some LED in it. I think it would look better in Blue for the 05, and Blue or White in the 02. What you think ?

Ooh, did you see that thread of that one guy that did it in Germany? It's on here somewhere, just don't have time to search right now. Anyways, from what I remember, he replaced everything from the dash, to the A/C unit to underneath the shifter. He had a few problems, but from what I remember, it was like a 2 week job. I don't know if that would be the case just for the cluster, but it looked REALLY good. I just don't know if that's worth a 2 week ordeal. If I have a chance later, I'll search for the old thread for you.
