I would think they do, since the manufacturer of the LED tails tries to do their best to match quality and for plug and play....$2.49 is nothing though, thank goodness for that

I agree. those "few dollar" mods are always worth a try.

yeah I've heard autolumination bulbs go out quickly sumtimes, but I hope they prove me wrong cuz so far I'm satisfied....

Might as well ask since this is interior lighting thread...

I had a blue led light that was in my glove box light housing, I had got it at pep boys just to see if it would work anywhere and was working perfectly...however I was playing around with the bulbs that day I had tried the resistors from my lab class, and the bulb and glove box light thing sparked and now it doesnt work at all...I've checked the glove box light fuse, which is under the hood but it is fine. Could I have possibly fried the metal clamps in the in the bulb holder thing? cuz even the original bulb wont work...

Well its not like the glove box light is a big deal, but does anyone have any suggestion as to what may have gone wrong?

Ok, I just received my LEDs and let me start off by saying that the shipping was incredibly quick! Great service.

But I ran through some problems. First, my dome light looks perfect, but it for some reason, when the button isn't turned on, the LED is still on but in a dim state, car turned off and everything. I took it off because I don't wanna have it dim while I'm away and then drain the battery. Here are pics of the dome light.

Dome light, turned on, cover on:

Now for my second problem. My map lights are awesome-ly bright, but they both have different shades. Here's another picture.

Someone please help!

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it weren't lightly dim while I was driving only, but it stays on even with the car off and parked.

Im still confused as hell as to why my LEDs turn OFF when the car is not on. They work fine when car is on, but turn off after a few seconds of the door opening when the car is off....is there a reason for this? should I try another pair of LEDs??? I know I've asked this before so sorry...

CJ!

try this...

turn the lights on with the car off, then shut it, stay inside, and lock the doors. the light should DIM and then sooner or later shut off. dont worry abt it.

as for the reading lights. lol its probably from a different batch! try flipping them. or rotating each 180degrees. sometimes when bulbs are not in the "correct way" they are diff colored. (experience!)

but yeah it looks sexy as hell CJ!

nooo...

the lights work fine! its just that they stay DIM when you turn them off. and when you shut off your car, they stay dim, until abt 15-20 seconds after you lock your car, they turn off.

no confusion. simple steps.

1. light turns on normally
2. if car is running, lights stay dimly lit, and stay on when you WANT them to stay on.
3. if car is off, lights stay dimply lit, until you lock your car, abt 15-20 seconds they turn off. and they also stay on when you want them to stay on.
4. lights work perfectly.
5. props to advans

I've said this before....mine don't stay dimly lit, they shut off after a couple seconds if the car is not on, meaning that if im sittin in the car with the ignition off and turn on the dome light, it will come on for a second and then shut off....I was telling him how mine worked...mine don't work the way yours do...

I do have the delay on, and I've flipped them and switched them, like you've told me before... I'm tempted to buy another pair of LEDs but I don't think that's the problem..

Well I could put the stock bulb back in and see if it does the same thing, cuz then that would tell if its the assembly....if not then the LED bulb...
