Aiming of clear fogs after install on C32

Seems like installing the clear fogs on an 02 C32 should be pretty easy going on the below instructions from another forum, so I am going to have a go this weekend ..... does anyone have any information on how to aim them correctly after installation ? Or any other hints/difficulties with the install ?

Thanks
Steve

raise the car on ramps
remove three screws in fender well
remove three fasteners on bottom/one in fender well
remove plastic cover(located directly under fog light)
unplug light
remove two screws that hold light assembly in place
unit will now lift out

FYI2:the fasteners mentioned above,to remove them you need to pry the center shaft down out of the plug about 1/4 "
this will allow you to grasp this shaft with needle nose pliers and pull straight out
when reinstalling leave shaft out /insert plug/then reinstall the shaft

Well, I didn't change the housing or lens, but I put different bulbs in, but I'd like to add that its fairly easy to do even though the directions seem kind of difficult...have you checked installuniversity.com? they have, i think, the best instructions on this DIY...

yeah the bulb is easy because it's a simply reach in, twist, change, and twist in. but once you remove the housing and swap lenses, it's a pain...

There is a small hole just to the side of each foglight. You need a long philips head screwdriver that will fit through the metal grates. Turn your fog lights on and aim appropriately. NOW, here's the imporant part. As you're turning the screw, the outside of the fog light housing will not move. The aiming is done by moving the inner housing lens.

Here is my passenger side fog light, the circled hole is for adjustment.

Thanks e. I have never changed the clear glass fogs that came with my factory BiX so never had cause to fiddle with them.

Come to think of it... I have always felt like my fogs have been shining light in a nice uniform manner, but I never thought of them as being very useful because they seemed to be aimed so low... I figured that my bulbs just werent very bright... Maybe I will adjust these a bit when I get a chance

Good info. I thought I had to adjust the fog lights BEFORE installation :x

Tru, My fogs are adjusted ex factory so they give nice fill when you get away from the bright lights of the city. I think it's worth a go. I'm still on OE bulbs. You have changed ride height & attitude of your car so I'm sure you will benefit from some adjustment.
