Drivers carpet removal - gas pedal removal?
I want to remove all the carpets from my car to clean them professionally. I can get the passenger side out, the carpets under the seats out (if I remove the seats) yet the driver's side carpet is stuck under the gas pedal and I don't immediately see how to remove it.
Can I get the carpet out without removing the gas pedal?

I'm not sure if you need to remove it, but if you want to it is easy. There is on 10mm bolt under the pedal. It is covered by a plastic cap. Pop it off, take out the bolt, then just yank the throttle out.

Best way to remove the salt stains is use vinegar. While your car will smell like an English fish and chips place for about a week, I find it is the best thing to dissolve the caked on salt imbedded in the carpet

I hate the winter salt all over the car.
The pedal takes 2 seconds to take out with a 10mm and a screwdriver if you need it out, Take a look you really don't unless you got a lot of salt behind it.
