Question CD changer installation

Anyone has an installation manual electronically (scanned, pdf format, etc.) and/or practical hints/instructions to be shared? Is it better to get it installed by the dealer? How about that code reset thing? I remember someone mentioned about plug'n play kind of approach..Does it really work or it becomes a problem eventually?

I did the installation, I have the technical documentation, and I will be posting a link to the pages, as soon as they're in a presentable form. I did the scans a week ago, and I intended to finish the pages, over the weekend, but I was too busy. They'll be ready, within the next few days. I never needed to get mine "initialized." The changer has worked perfectly since the installation, and it's been two weeks.

thanks pete

Pete:
Looking forward to DIY instructions for CD. A discount CD and DIY install are a way to resist the exhorbitant dealer charge for the changer.

just talked to the dealer about the cd changer.. $650 + $150 (installation). The guy in the parts department said there should be no magic "initializing" to be performed by the dealer when installing the changer. So autoclass.net seems like a good alternative to buy from.
