its not necessarily a "good deal" because there are much cheaper hid kits that work, but its good quality and if u have the money...go for it

MTEC is really good. That's about the price they usually go for there on eBay.

I had techonehid before, and didn't require setting xenon to present.
and stock bmw HID should be 4300K, as well as Mercedes and other oem HIDs.

I have a brand new 9006 kit 8000K that I bought for my fogs but I found out the new fogs on my bumper are H3. It has the original box and everything. If you want, you can have it for $80 plus shipping. I think I paid about $100.

H7 is the type of bulb used on your low beam. If you change the whole thing to OEM bixenon then it'd be D2S. and the fogs for your car is 9006 which I have the extra kit for.

We're talkin' aftermarket HID in halogen assemblies, so you'd want to go with H7 kit. That being said, keep in mind that it is H7 for low and high beam.

Xenon Bulb Help!?

I bought 2 new bulbs, Osram xenarc same as I have in my headlights.

I installed them and surprise, the light is yellow!!
I know it could be for being new bulbs but, so yellow! I never saw a new car with yellow xenons!

Other thing, any one have instructions how to install the xenon bulbs!?
I install it but the ligth is out of the place, its not aligned!! I removed and installed it several times and can't figure out how the bulb is supposed to be!
Before I install it the beam was projecting good...

Any help please?

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
The lamps need a few minutes of "seasoning" when new to reach the final colour. Your lamp must also be very clean when it is installed. The outside and the terminal area should be cleaned with a lint free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol should be 99% or better. The connector must also be wiped down with alcohol. You should wear gloves, and be sure the lamp is fully inserted into the housing. The 30,000 volts used to start the arc in these lamps must be respected. If you have an implanted pacemaker, you should pay someone to change lamps for you. When cleaning the lamp socket, if you see any carbon tracks, you must replace the connector. The carbon imbeds in the silicone rubber and cannot be cleaned.

There are a lot of counterfeit lamps in the market. Chinese made copies of Osram and Philips lamps do not meet colour temperature or even dimensional specifications of the OEM lamps.

This might be why your beam is not good. The lamp base is just glued on by hand on counterfeit lamps, versus a precision jig used in the Osram factory.

The code and model of the lamp are the same of my stock ones, and the seller was a respected seller... so I will install it and wait to see the result.

For the install any guide or tips to do that!?

I'm struggling to put the bulbs right! they look right after I pressed the clip, but when I turn on the lights they are not aligned!!
