Difference in engine? Or is it just looks?
I was wondering in my C230 Coupe I have a black strip on the top of my engine. I was looking on ebay and I saw multiple c230 coupes with the red cover on the top of their engines.... this may be a dumb questions but I am confused. Is there a difference in motors or is it just for looks?

yeap.

you have the M271 1.8K motor. which is the black one, 189hp

then the one with the red strip is the M111 2.3K motor, with 192?hp

Only 192?

Rough guess, I'm putting out 240 hp at the crank, but no dyno yet.
