Opinions/thoughts on H&R coilovers vs. Tein Basic coilovers?
Any thoughts on H&R coilovers vs. Tein Basic coilovers? I have the H&R's right now. How does the Tein Basic compare? How is the ride quality, stiffness, harshness, etc. Also, I read that Tein Basic doesn't go quite as low as the H&R does. Does anybody have pictures of their car on almost the lowest setting of Tein Basics with 19's?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Check out my other thread. I just installed tein basic with 19". The first pic shows how low the car is with the setting half way. And scroll all the way down that I just posted the latest update with CF lip, I have the front all the way up.

I have the TEIN Basics on my C32. Some people hate them, others like them. I personally love them. For the price, they are hard to beat, especially if you can get them used. I am sure it greatly depends on the road conditions in your area. I can see people not liking them if they live on rought roads. Plus, if you want to go really low, then they probably are not for you. Pick up a used set and save moeny for other mods

In the last few pics with the lip on, is the rear all the way to the lowest? If the first few pics have the front and rear half way, its a decent height. I'm guessing if its at the lowest setting, it'll be more than enough. How much finger gap, if any, would you guess there would be if it was at the lowest setting?

white and whiter
go look at my car in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/189242-easter-party-crashing-galleria-mini-c-vs-m-meet-pics-56kdie.html
it's set at highest for the rear and about hte same at the front. 1 finger gap. tein superstreet, same height adjust range as the basic.
the H&R coil is softer imo.
