Gas Pedal Removal
Got my sport pedals from Mercedes today but I can't figure out how to remove the gas pedal. I got the pin at the top and the 10mm washer on the bottom out but the part of the pedal where it "curls" doesn't seem to want to come out. If anyone can revive the pictures in some of the previous threads would be nice. Any tips? Thanks.

I just did the pedals two nights ago. I pulled the cap and nut off first. Then I just moved the pedal around to release it from the top. There was nothing special to it. I seem to remember it came right out. Then I did the pin when it was all out. I do remember it being a pain to get back in though. When i looked at it with the mirror, there was just one slot it fit into. When I got it back in, it seemed like it just went straight in, not angled like it would appear to. Just keeo at it, it will slide back in. My best indicator of where I was at was actually the bolt on the floor.

From what I remember, after removing the bottom nut and pin, it came out pretty easily. Maybe because it was still rather new. Just keep trying at it.

Haha, guess it wasn't that hard at all. Went back to it afterwards and realized the new and old gas pedal did not look the same. I decided to just slip off and swap the rubber pieces. Everything went pretty well. Took some pics too, try not to mind the blue rice...

Infected, what did you use to do the footwell lighting and how did you wire it, that is exactly how I want it......
Edit: I don't think thats rice as long as its LEDs

There are 2 LED wands under the dash where the cable runs under the center console and into a control box hidden at the back of the center console where the ashtray is. The box is just there to offer a variety of different settings for the lights. Then just run it to a power source. I used the 12V lighter but you can wire them to turn on when your headlights are on etc.
