No he didn't say anything about it. one of the email he said:

Okay, I'll tell you what. I just called my friend, he said that if he were to let it go today, since he's been getting phone calls from craigslist constantly, he won't let it go for his reserve price. I mean, he has to come to the school and drop it off to me just so you can take delivery today. He says for all this extra trouble, $265 and you can take them today, at whatever time is convenient for you. Let me know. I get out of school at 12:30.

So, he lied to me. But he owned up already though that it was his

mhmm, thats true. but not the point. the item was sold AS-IS, just resell it or get the clip. its an OEM product and you got it dirt cheap as it is.

he lied to me initially and told me that it wasnt oem and he wanted to return it because he paid for a mercedes benz part

260 for an item with a broken tab and no clip at all. Go find me a clip if you can? I don't care about the money but I don't like your bad intention.

Oh forgot, You also profited 120 dollar from your nightmare.

Also, why didn't you installed it after 10 days you received the item if there is nothing wrong about it.

You want to talk to my tech? He was going to put them in today, exactly today. And I didn't have bad intentions, I had no idea that there was anything missing form the inside of the lamp, and I'm not even sure what clip you're talking about. Like I said, if I was aware of this...I would have shown people at the meet.

Just to let eberyone know, I said it's not OEM because I thought it wasn't since I didn't know that mercedes use part made by "automaotive lighting" and it's made in Czeh republic.

Usually mercedes use bosch or hella and made in germany

Yep.. He said it was his friends. When I met him and looked at his frosted headlamps, I asked "I thought you bought it for 140?" he said, "the guy hasn't ship it, he's gonna ship it using fedex"

I have his box with te tracking number on it. Just to proof that this is his

This is so ridiculous, how is there not a clip to hold the bulb? The headlamp came with all of the bulbs in it...

We've already established that these are the ones that I bought off ebay and the same ones I showed to everyone at the meet.

Yep. Agree.. You are not supposed to turn your nightmare into $120 profit even though you didn't know that there is something wrong about it. When I saw the item, there was also one broken tabs WHICH I still accept it. But with something that I can't INSTALL my bulbs in it, that's just sucks to me, rite?

Why do you have to put any bulbs in it? All the bulbs came with it? And yes, I'd love to see a picture please so we can better understand what's wrong with the headlamp.

I'm already having a bad day, so let's keep all further discussions in this thread free of a hostile tone, let's settle this like gentlemen.

I'd like to assess what exactly is missing first and see if it's possible to order one from the dealer. It shouldn't be too much if you could order it and I'd be more than happy to pay for it.

Please stop assuming that I knew about a missing clip, because I legitimately was unaware of this missing clip.

I don't think you can just buy the clip wiithout buying the whole lamp since there is no part number on it.

PS: I don't mean to talk with a hostile tone. Sorry for my bad english.

Whether or not I use the original bulb, it doesn't have the clip. I can't install it using any bulb. When I opened the cover, the bulb is out of the place and when I checked the other one, it has a clip on it, and the other has not.

Hmmm I see, did you look inside the headlamp to see if maybe the clip fell off and is lodged inside the lamp?

You're talking about the thin metal clips right? All of the headlamps for w203s have them because they're h7 right? I remember these when I changed my bulbs to piaa's, If so, I would think that the dealer should have these whether there is a part number or not. It's worth a shot, as long as nothing is broken.

Thanks for the input, yeah they should have them, because headlamps are very expensive brand new, and it'd be ridiculous to have to replace the whole thing if anything broke.

Give mercedes a call, i think their parts dept is open until 5 today

It's not a metal clip (like in frosted headlamps) it's this:
