Ignition Hesitation
I've had the car for about 4 months now. As of last week, several times when I start the car, it takes longer for the engine to start up. I notice that when I turn the key to the ignition position, the sparkplugs take longer to turn the engine on.
Normally, it turns on almost instantly, but in the above incidences, it took say 1 second longer. You can hear the engine struggle to start up.
What's wrong?

I've had several occasions when the car started and idled very rough for the first 15 seconds after starting. Also, once, the starting cycle timed out , then I tried again and the car started.
I think this is more of a problem in cold weather.

Most embarrasing - I was in a parking lot and there were cute girls walking by.
