i actually like the door handles, window controls, in this case b/c the whole thing is aluminum vs an applied ring to the top surface.

Anyone remember the Series 1 Jag XKE and XJ6? Nice aluminum consoles, at least until the first scratch. Unless you find a Pebble Beach candidate, the aluminum in these cars is a real detraction today. IMO real aluminum alloys are likely to be too soft for everyday use in this application.

To clarify, Renntech does not sell those door handles in the US. There's no way to get them, which is too bad, 'cause I would've bought them.

well, received torasports samples today.
high glossed brushed aluminum
titanium look
silver carbon fiber (2 types)
and the bad news is that they are not acceptable finishes to me. the silver carbon fibers make me dizzy
, the high gloss brushed aluminum looks like there is a very thick layer of clear plastic on top, and the titanium look looks fake upon close inspection and of course, it has the black edges which would be highly visible.
just my opinions.
i haven't received the legend 5 samples yet.
