cigarette lighter stuck
I don't smoke nor do I ever use it but my friend loves to play with things and decided to press it in and know it will not come out, does anyone know how to pop it out?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but heat normally pops it. Therefore it stands to reason that you should be able to pull it out without damaging it.

Are you saying the plug stays "popped in" even if you pull the entire lighter out, or that the lighter is stuck to your car?
If a), it's just a clip, you just hafta push on a tab if I remember correctly. b) reef on it, it will still come out.

It happened to me... due to the proximity of the cup holder on the sports coupe, some java had gotten into the socket and shorted the thing out... check your fuse first, if not turn on the parking lamps and see if the ring around the cigarette lighter illuminates... if it dosen't you need a new unit... I ended up needing a new one, comes with the socket and the pop out element, it was work 50$ CDN.
