Finally picking up new shoes
I have finally purchased new wheels. I decided to go with a used set of DPE R5 SL's. They're off of a friends C55. I will post pictures as soon as I get my car back and slap these on. They will be 19x8 F 19x10 R.
here is what they look like:
edit: full polish finish & YES, i am getting coilovers shortly!

white and whiter
not a fan of DPE as they've known to be soft and welded 2 piece wheels. one of my friend had hairline crack as well as easy bends on both of his rear 19x9.5 on his E46 coupe (this was from the same bad section of roads that I drove pass on my HRE and DCR and they were absolutely fine). He can't just have DPE sent new barrels and put it together locally because they're welded. He had to send both wheel back to get it fixed.

i know about the quality of DPE's and they were not a concern of mine when i purchased them. i decided on these b/c of the fantastic finish on them compared to the other brands. i was really close to getting a set of iForged daytons but after seeing some up close the finish just didnt compare. the roads in this city are pretty good so i should be fine (knock on wood).
