i know about the quality of DPE's and they were not a concern of mine when i purchased them. i decided on these b/c of the fantastic finish on them compared to the other brands. i was really close to getting a set of iForged daytons but after seeing some up close the finish just didnt compare. the roads in this city are pretty good so i should be fine (knock on wood).

the finishes on the DPE is not bad, but some people did experience discoloring. The E46 I spoke of had the Phantom Black which discoloring was pretty bad that one wheel looked brown while the other is black/purple. Your polish setup should not be a problem.
