Whatever. Honda makes good cars for the masses. But a Mercedes has more engineering behind it and I really doubt that the Honda had everything the MB has: 8 air bags, stability control, ABS, etc. Sure, it may be the least expensive Benz, but it's still got more engineering and safety equipment than that Honda.

Wow there are lots of honda-hater around here but believe me thier cars (although cheap cars) are more reliable than our new Benzes
I spend a lot of money moding my car as well as maintaining them. ANd the fixes were stupid electronics things that priced so high at the stealership and make me want to pull a gun and shoot their fuc#$ heads off. For example ESP module (a small box size of ciggarette pack) $1000
Elec Seat Module $500 each side (there were electricity leakage on both module)
Seat's Motor(change twice) $200 each
Key $250
Brake Pump $600
Motor Mount ( change twice)
Rear SAM $1000
Fail fuel pump (died on traffic) $850
and the list goes on.....
these price may sounds reasonable to you American but for our currency its absurd!
My family have always drive benzs and the W203 is the least reliable benz so far. Dont get me wrong, the car drives fine and i still love the car but the constant fixes and error messages on the 203 make me just wanna buy a honda and make my life more simple.

Out Of Control!!
What's wrong with the truth?
We drive the cheapest Benz, his Civic Si (if that's what he had, since you point to a pic of one) could take your C230 and is more fun to drive than your car, so I don't understand the big gripe.
If you're feeling bad and or inadequate about owning the cheapest Benz, you should have bought another car.
Some of you people are too sensitive.

honda is pretty bad *** overseas, in southeastern asia they have some rally races that those hondas go through hell and back, and will still pull 120 mph out of a less than 2.0 liter motor--- that to me is amazing.
Mercedes is bad *** too, but overall I would have to say the better company from a business standpoint is honda, due to their wide spectrum of services/products allowing for a much larger customer base than mercedes benz.
If you could have the best of either honda, or mercedes, which would be faster? Honda--- they make private jets lmao i dont think any mercedes can do 400+mph

Mercedes-Benz has dabbled in jet aircraft engines, motorcycles, in the far past, check your Diamler-Benz history. If MB wanted to, they could easily blow away Honda in those competitive markets. MB chooses to focus on their main product and evolutionize it based on emerging technology.
Case in point, who has more Formula 1 podium finishes? Mercedes-McLaren or Honda ?

Or this:
Me: Hello SA, I'd like you to change the oil on my Mercedes push mower please.
SA: Ok, that will be $699 for A-service, and we'll also spray it off with our garden hose.

wonder if the kid says the same things to the following owners of these cars as they are the cheapest ('entry level') in the stable of the parent company:
Ferrari F430
Lambo Gallardo
Porsche Boxter
Lotus Elise
Maserati Coupe
Atson Martin Vantage
Maybach 57
Bentley Continental
I would rather have the cheapest car in a high end company than the most expensive car in a cheap company... Kia Amanti or Hyundai Azera or VW Phaeton comes to mind
Last point, would rather have the cheapest house on the street in a great neighbourhood than the most expensive house in a crappy area
