I'm all for group buys, I think that's a great idea to get new mods put on the Coupes....

Maybe when I build the Coupe up in the attic, I'll add aftermarket stuff to it.
Right now my stock pre-05 grill is an art-deco piece hanging on my garage wall, next to a 1950's W111 grill.

The intent of the extra set, is kinda like insurance, in case anything ever happens to my current set. In that case, I don't think anyone would want to buy them anyway (broken, scratched beyond repair, accident, etc...)
Since they are so difficult to find, I thought it would be better to buy a set now and put them away, rather than not having any be available 10-15 years from now.
What I did to my current set however, is use the XPEL 3M clear film on them to protect them from scratches, rock chips, etc...
I recommend anyone with Bi-X do that. You change the film every 3 years or so in case of fading, but it keeps your lenses clean and scratch-free.

I know for a fact at least 2 or 3 sponsors that can get that part at a good group price for you guys, including us.
I also *might* have a line on a killer light deal.

Don't worry. You don't need to hide it. There was a person that pm'd me about the potential mattig grille group buy and I told 'em that they need to ask an administrator if it's okay to set up a group buy.
I think Brad was referring to being able to get Bi-x, which I'm sure everyone knows can be had through 2-3 sponsors. And like Brad said, they can get them too apparently. If it was about the Mattig grille, even better (well, for the coupe owners...Sedan one doesn't look that good).

There was a flood-ish situation that happened in NYC this morning, so I ended up not going to work! I headed to the mall and decided to do a photoshoot!
