right now with the lip, the lowest section is about 5'' off the ground...really low and its scraped up a lot from when we first got it and werent used to it with parking curbs (d'oh!) and driveways....still scrape it occasionally on the steep driveway or connecting street...*grumbles something about civil engineers being stupid*

Update
just did the facelifted mirror blinkers yesterday (installed myself) and ordered the parts today...should get it installed within the week! ill post pics at the end.
does anyone know a reasonable price for a clear bra paint protection thing? ive been quoted 575 for the new bumper (its a custom job, they have to make the pattern) and 290 for the hood and fenders together...is that rediculous? seems a bit steep. that is including application, btw.
Thanks,
-Sim

I love the hood...
I would color match it to the car (just my personal taste), but it on black it's got to be pretty low key.
Be sure to post up the exhaust vid. I've you've could email the vid, let me know. I've been debating the Eisenmann and Carlsson systems for a while now, and I haven't had a chance to see much of either.

try looking on youtube, there are lots of vids there, just search for it, make sure you specify W203.
this thing is just mean sounding, i mean the car is really so much more fun to drive now because of it! Finally, when I step on the gas I know im stepping on the gas. Its also made it much easier to make sporting acquaintences on the freeway and streets, if you know what i mean.
Loud and low, its really cool.
ill see if i can email that to you.

i dont like the riegers...and the AMG are way too run-of-the-mill. almost all sideskirts I see look really add-on-ish to me...not my taste
i already bottom out on the belly on some driveways, even going like .25mph, so I am really aprehensive about side-skirts, because Ive already had the experience with my lip of scraping the hell out of bodywork. Im pretty sure that at least for now and the foreseeable future, Imma stay with the stock sides.
besides, I actually kinda like the flow of low ends and a little higher in the middle, brings attention more to the more aggressive parts of the car. Makes the front bumper and rear apron look even meaner!

Just have a question, how did you install your front lip?screws?hard glue?
I think you should get AMG front bumper ,looks more balance F and R.Now,your front is lower than your rear, that's what I noticed.

thank you crazyfox...yes my car is black...cant slip one by you, can i?
I like the CF hood, its unique! only ever seen 2 like it, and i think its pretty slick, esp. with the black. I know some people w/ CF on like red cars, and it just seems like its black/gray from afar, the black really sets it off, I think.
I never liked the AMG front, but I think the Rieger lines are an extension and more agressive expression of the same lines so itll be a bit more balanced than the current rieger lip. (also not as low...but the general shape is an exaggeration of the same lines, which I REALLY like).
the lip went on i beleive with pop-rivets that came with it, and then the whole bumper was painted so there is no complete seam, only a ridge, looks like 1 peice.

Just wondering, when you uninstall your front lip,do you need to repaint your stock bumper? and SORRY for asking, what is pop-rivets
BTW, you should've molded the lip,so it's really a one piece looking bumper

c230 2005, Mods- Custom Muffs-Lorinser LM6- Tinted window-Smoked ligts- Carbon lip-Hnr Springs(Cut)-
Hey all, this is my first project since i started on MBworld. Lemme know what you all think (dont be too cruel )
1. replacing the stock front bumper that has a Rieger lip with the full E63 style front bumper from Rieger. The bumper can be seen on C24Owner's car (hehe, gotta give cred for ideas! id been searching foreverrrr for a bumper i liked then i saw his sig pic!)
2. Clear sidemarkers or euro impact strips. Do you use whatever impact strips you have on a new bumper? Also, if anyone has a good, reasonably priced source for either of those mods (i know i know...ebay...) please let me know.
3. Replacing stock exhaust w/tips with a Eisenmann race-level catback w/ 2x83MM round tips.
Here is the before, I am still in school and have AP tests the next two weeks (if any of you know what that is) so i have no time but Itll prolly get it done within the month. Ill post pics once its done.
No it isnt that crapped-out paintwise...it was a crazy-sunny day and thats the asphalt reflecting in the rear bumper (its a little dusty, but w/e)
Yes thats real carbon fiber. Yes those are real swirl marks . Yes i plan to get it detailed and buffed out after i get the mods and my new paint (which will need to be waxed anyway)

yeah, it sticks up like 1/4-1/2 inch...thanks TWS! (it was one of the first things I personally did with them, and i was sort-of bullied into leaving it like that...and they are like 2hrs away so i couldnt just drop by to bug them every once in a while...hopefully eurorev'll be better)...im having eurorev take a look when they are doing my work, see if they can make it fit a little better.
