Need help on buying tires

I have 2005 C230 K and have a unfixable flat on the front tire. the car is two years old and has 24000 miles on it.

I am thinking about changing both front tires and and looking at toyo proxy 225/45 for a total $139 each from TownFair tire. on the other hand the dealer ship is charing $198 for continental.

I am tempted to get the tires from the dealership, however Wanted to know if anybody has any experiance with the toyos. any help is appreciated.

thanks

J

Agree and just FYI, try to shop around cos as far as I know MBZ dealership will charge you more to replace the tires. Good luck

MJ is giving you a recommendation that if you have Continental tires on the rear wheels, he's saying you should get Continentals on the front.

Otherwise, he is saying you should replace all 4.

198 for Conti's is a rip.
You could get Michelin Pilots for that...
