Take a look at these pics. See how the bottom portion connects where the hood ends? Since my grille is color matched all around, it's hard to tell.
Also, see how the top grille slat slants down directly under the hood? The CL grille from Formymercedes and on ebay doesn't quite do that because the mounting points needed that top portion for the 4 top screws. The MH-Dezent grille needs to be custom fabricated (which I haven't completely done yet.
Lastly, look at the sides of the MH-Dezent grille. See how the grille slats go all the way to the hood? On the fmm/ebay grille, there is a vertical frame that you can see behind the grille slats on the sides. The MH-Dezent doesn't have side frames to mount the grille. The mounts for the MH-Dezent are on the bottom, but the rest have to be fabricated. It looks the cleanest out of all the CL-style grilles because it is actually fabricated from a CL OEM grille...but...it doesn't have as easy of mounting points. A little custom fab to make it fit perfect.

Yes... I'm interested in this too...I've also just recently had my emblem snatched, and have been considering going flat with a CL styled grille...whilst the stuff on E-bay is cheap I've been super hesitant because... let's face facts, if things are cheap there usually is a reason for it.

I think it's approximately $600 retail, but I'm not sure. I got a used one for less. Check with Peformance Products and Evosport. Both of them are sponsors on here and I'm pretty sure they both can get the grille.

Flat flatty for sure. The upright star is to old manish and I can say that since I'm one of the older C-class owners, at least on this forum.
