FYI - Signal Lamp Info

To all older 203 C-Class owners (01 and 02)...
I went to the MB dealer today when a Malfunction message showed up on the screen - Left front signal lamp was out. Evidently, according to the tech, the older bulb assembly units short and the contacts have a higher incidence of burning out - this may be a problem for those who live in hotter climates. They are replacing both signal lamps with a newer design bulb assembly. So, if anyone who has this same problem - it may not be the bulb, but the assembly unit itself.

I had an 01 C320 that had that same problem on the front left (driver side), turn signal. They eventually replaced the whole headlight.

Same Problem

I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and I had the same problem. I had the right turn signal go out and the dealership replaced the bulb assembly unit with a newer version. They went ahead and replaced the other side also, eventhough the bulb was not out.
