Here are a few insanely bad pictures of my interior footwell LEDs...there are 4 small LEDs on each side. These are really crappy pics cuz I'm not good at taking pics of light, but basically they are as bright as I was expecting, so I'm happy.

Thanks! Well I like this grille, but I've been thinking about trying a silver/chrome cl grill...I'd want that w/ the chrome mesh in the star though...ive seen them with the black mesh with the star...of course I'd have to get a flat badge, which i don't really want to do, but something i might experiment with down the line...

Leaving it alone. Maybe adding a flat hood emblem if you want.

Headlight/Blinker Question

Okay so my last update was the installation of the projectors I picked up, however since I've installed them, my passenger side blinker does not function. (I get the error) It seems to accept the socket, but then its difficult to remove. I also noticed that the metal part on the socket has bent outwards. I purchased a new socket from the dealer, and it still didn't work. I'm going to assume now that its something in the projector headlight. I really like the new headlights, if only I could get the blinker to work....any suggestions as to what I should do next??? I'm planning on removing the headlight to inspect the area just inside the blinker area....

Ok, so I got a ticket tonight for speeding However, I'm looking at the ticket for an officer mess-up so I can take it to a hearing just seeing if I have a shot, lol. Ok so the officer has marked it 76 mph in a 50 zone. On the ticket he has marked it off as radar AND estimated......so I'm thinking which one is it..if its solely radar then yes, but if its estimated...it could be only 60 how the hell would he know???

Also another question...I thought that police, if they are on the road, they are supposed to have some sort of light on...can anyone give me any advice? Thanks

EDIT: Check out here https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ost2422827...I think I seen a skyline tonight...is it real or fake? I took a crappy pic, however it had a sick body kit on it....

HAHA I know its awful, I wish I got a better pic...what a sick car that was...there was another car in front of me...probably like 100ft in front of me...that car also did a pretty hefty brake job when the cop became visible...so if he checked radar/estimate....chances are it is inaccurate because that other car was going probably 70 which is also 20 over the limit....I'll probably fight it, and ask if the officer can provide documentation of his latest radar training...I don't know any other ideas or web sites to look about this kind of stuff???

Yeah, the body kit looks very similar to that as far as I can tell.

Hey everyone, I was thinking of doing my own ashtray delete by just going to a fabric store to get some felt or whatever. I just spent some time reading over the ashtray threads and how to remove it and stuff, but one thing that I could not find is what size is the ashtray bulb? I know its miniature or whatever, but does anyone know exactly what type/size it is?? Looking to see if I could get one in a different color.

Another question, which I've asked before but no one has ever answered, and it's about the cigar lighter (located in cupholder on my car). Well it doesnt work, and the light doesnt either the fuse is fine also, I did notice that the glove box light uses the same fuse as the cigar lighter, and one time while changing the bulb in the glove box, something sparked, therefore the glove box light nor the cigar lighter work. Like I said the fuse is fine, but ultimately I'm looking to get everything back in working order, plus I may be looking to tap into the cigar lighter for a 12V power. Sorry for the long post but any help would be appreciated

how exactly are you doing an ashtray delete? are you trying to fill in the ashtray area with felt?

as for the bulb, it is a festoon bulb...maybe 39mm?

it looks like this:

Hmm, when reading old posts, I thought i remember sumone saying it was a special bulb...thats why i asked, are you sure its a festoon??

Yes. For instance, say i wanted to empty the ashes from the tray, i would take that piece out and put the felt in the area thats underneath, but i would take the entire assembly out and do it good...
